Welcome to DoseLoop. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the DoseLoop mobile application, website, and related services collectively referred to as “DoseLoop,” “the App,” “we,” “our,” or “us.”

By downloading, accessing, or using DoseLoop, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

DoseLoop is provided for personal health and wellness tracking, organization, and educational purposes only. DoseLoop is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

 

 

1. About DoseLoop

DoseLoop is a personal tracking app designed to help users log and organize information related to medication routines, dose history, symptoms, injection sites, weight, nutrition, water intake, reminders, progress photos, notes, and related wellness information.

DoseLoop may also include features such as AI-assisted food scanning, nutrition estimates, progress reports, Apple Health integration, reminders, and premium subscription features.

The App is intended to support personal organization and self-tracking. It is not intended to replace professional medical care.

 

 

2. Medical Disclaimer

DoseLoop does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, medication instructions, dose recommendations, diet plans, or clinical guidance.

You understand and agree that:

  • DoseLoop is for tracking, organization, and informational purposes only.

  • DoseLoop does not determine whether a medication, dose, treatment, diet, or health action is appropriate for you.

  • DoseLoop does not replace advice from a doctor, pharmacist, dietitian, or other qualified healthcare professional.

  • You should always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about medication, dosage, treatment, diet, symptoms, side effects, or health management.

  • You are responsible for verifying all information entered into or generated by the App.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.

 

 

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age required in your country or region, to use DoseLoop.

If you are under the age of majority in your region, you may use DoseLoop only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

By using DoseLoop, you confirm that you are legally able to agree to these Terms.

 

 

4. Your Responsibility for Health Information

You are responsible for the information you enter into DoseLoop and for how you use that information.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Medication names

  • Dose amounts

  • Dose schedules

  • Reminder settings

  • Symptom logs

  • Weight and nutrition data

  • Progress photos

  • Notes and questions for healthcare professionals

You agree to review your information carefully and not rely solely on the App for medical decisions.

DoseLoop may help organize your information, but it cannot verify whether your medication, dose, schedule, nutrition values, or symptoms are correct.

 

 

5. Reminders and Notifications

DoseLoop may allow you to create reminders for medication, doses, logs, water intake, or other activities.

You understand and agree that:

  • Reminders are a convenience feature only.

  • Notifications may be delayed, missed, disabled, or affected by device settings, battery settings, internet connection, operating system behavior, or other technical factors.

  • DoseLoop is not responsible for missed, late, duplicate, or incorrect reminders.

  • You should not rely only on DoseLoop reminders for important medication or health-related actions.

Always follow instructions from your healthcare professional and medication label.

 

 

6. AI-Assisted Food Scan and Nutrition Estimates

DoseLoop may include an AI-assisted food scan feature that allows you to capture or select a meal photo and receive an editable nutrition estimate.

You understand and agree that:

  • AI-assisted food scan results are estimates only.

  • Food recognition and nutrition values may be incomplete, incorrect, or affected by image quality, portion size, lighting, hidden ingredients, preparation method, or provider limitations.

  • You must review and edit the result before saving it.

  • DoseLoop does not guarantee the accuracy of calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, fiber, serving size, or any other nutrition value.

  • AI-assisted food scan does not provide diet advice, treatment advice, or medical recommendations.

DoseLoop may use third-party services such as LogMeal, FatSecret, or similar providers to process food images or nutrition data. Your use of these features may also be subject to those providers’ terms and privacy policies.

Manual meal logging remains available if you do not want to use AI-assisted food scan.

 

 

7. Apple Health and Third-Party Integrations

DoseLoop may offer integration with Apple Health or other third-party services.

If you choose to enable an integration, you are responsible for reviewing and approving the permissions requested.

DoseLoop will only access supported data after you grant permission through the relevant system or service.

You can disable or revoke permissions at any time through your device or account settings.

DoseLoop is not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or behavior of third-party platforms, devices, services, or integrations.

 

 

8. User Content

“User Content” means information, photos, notes, logs, preferences, or other content you enter, upload, create, or store using DoseLoop.

You retain ownership of your User Content.

By using the App, you grant us a limited right to process your User Content only as needed to provide, maintain, support, and improve DoseLoop, including features such as storage, reports, reminders, analytics, food scanning, and support.

You agree not to upload or enter content that:

  • Violates the law

  • Infringes another person’s rights

  • Contains abusive, harmful, or misleading information

  • Contains content you do not have permission to use

  • Attempts to interfere with or misuse the App

 

 

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.

Our collection, use, storage, and protection of information are described in our Privacy Policy.

By using DoseLoop, you agree that we may handle your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

You should review the Privacy Policy before using the App.

 

 

10. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Premium Features

DoseLoop may offer free features, paid features, subscriptions, one-time purchases, or other premium access options.

Payments are processed through Apple App Store or another authorized payment provider. We do not directly receive or store your full payment card details.

Premium features may include, but are not limited to:

  • AI-assisted food scan

  • Advanced tracking features

  • Reports or exports

  • Progress insights

  • Customization options

  • Additional limits or unlocked functionality

Available premium features may change over time.

 

 

11. Subscription Renewal and Cancellation

If you purchase a subscription through the Apple App Store:

  • Your subscription may automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.

  • Apple manages billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds according to Apple’s terms.

  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings.

  • Deleting the App does not automatically cancel your subscription.

We cannot directly cancel App Store subscriptions on your behalf.

 

 

12. Refunds

Refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store are handled by Apple according to Apple’s refund policies.

We do not control Apple’s refund decisions.

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact Apple Support or use Apple’s refund request process.

 

 

13. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use DoseLoop for any unlawful purpose

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, modify, or misuse the App

  • Interfere with the App’s operation or security

  • Attempt to access another user’s data

  • Use the App to store or transmit harmful code

  • Abuse premium features, APIs, or third-party integrations

  • Use automated systems to overload or misuse the App

  • Misrepresent DoseLoop as a medical service, medical device, or professional healthcare provider

We may restrict or terminate access if we believe these Terms have been violated.

 

 

14. Third-Party Services and Content

DoseLoop may use or link to third-party services, websites, APIs, data providers, analytics tools, subscription tools, or other external services.

These third-party services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Apple App Store

  • Apple Health

  • Food recognition or nutrition data providers

  • Subscription management providers

  • Analytics or crash reporting providers

  • Cloud hosting or support services

We are not responsible for third-party services, content, terms, privacy practices, availability, accuracy, or performance.

Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

 

 

15. App Updates and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of DoseLoop at any time.

Updates may include bug fixes, new features, design changes, premium feature changes, safety improvements, or changes required by law or platform rules.

Some features may require an internet connection, a supported device, an active subscription, or specific permissions.

We are not responsible if a feature becomes unavailable due to device limitations, operating system changes, third-party service changes, account issues, or other factors outside our control.

 

 

16. Availability and Technical Limitations

DoseLoop is provided on an “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or compatible with every device, operating system, region, or third-party service.

Features may be affected by:

  • Device settings

  • Internet availability

  • Notification settings

  • Battery optimization

  • Permission restrictions

  • Operating system updates

  • Third-party API limits

  • Subscription status

  • Regional availability

You are responsible for maintaining your device, internet connection, permissions, and backups.

 

 

17. No Warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoseLoop is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will meet your specific needs

  • The App will be error-free or uninterrupted

  • Health, nutrition, reminder, or tracking information will be accurate or complete

  • AI-assisted estimates will be correct

  • Reports or summaries will be suitable for medical decisions

  • Any third-party service will remain available

You use DoseLoop at your own discretion and risk.

 

 

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, health-related consequences, missed reminders, incorrect logs, inaccurate estimates, or reliance on information from the App.

DoseLoop is not responsible for decisions you make based on information entered into, displayed by, or generated by the App.

You should always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.

 

 

19. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DoseLoop, its owners, developers, affiliates, employees, contractors, and service providers from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the App

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your violation of any law or third-party rights

  • Your User Content

  • Your reliance on App information for medical, nutrition, or health decisions

 

 

20. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to DoseLoop if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, create legal risk, or use the App in a way that may harm us, other users, third-party services, or the App.

You may stop using DoseLoop at any time.

Some provisions of these Terms will continue after termination, including medical disclaimers, limitation of liability, ownership, payment obligations, and dispute provisions.

 

 

21. Intellectual Property

DoseLoop, including its design, branding, software, features, text, graphics, logos, icons, code, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on DoseLoop unless expressly permitted by law or written permission from us.

 

 

22. Feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions, ideas, or improvement requests, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.

You are not required to provide feedback, but if you do, you grant us permission to use it to improve DoseLoop.

 

 

23. Export and Legal Compliance

You agree to use DoseLoop only in compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App is lawful in your country or region.

 

 

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make significant changes, we may notify you through the App, website, App Store listing, or other appropriate means.

The updated Terms will be effective when posted unless otherwise stated.

Your continued use of DoseLoop after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

 

 

25. Governing Law

26. Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded DoseLoop from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.

  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.

  • Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims.

  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you.

Your use of the App must also comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and any applicable App Store rules.
